The New Fairy of Rome    
The new fairy of Rome project, was formed with the aim of creating a pole exhibition at a level of attracting a considerable share of international business in Rome. Among the great infrustructural projects the one of the new fairy of Rome, is adestinated to increase considerably the role of Rome as international capital and represents a great chance for the development of the city. Rome is not only famous due to the cultural and turistic tradition but the Eternal City has a strong vocation for business tourism and congresses. The new fairy is situated on the Roma-Fiumicino highway, 355 millions of euros were invested and the project was realized by Fiera di Roma SPA. A company of which the 45.4% of the shares are owned by the chamber of commerce of Rome and the 27.6% of the shares is owned by the Rome town council and the 24.8% is owned by the Lazio Region. The fairy will be composed by 22 pavillions part of which have been inaugurated in october 2006; The end of the works is expected to be in 2009.The complete fairy will be one of the first fairistic poles of Europe having an exhibiton surface of 189.000 m2. Including all the complimentary buildings and offices, the fairy will have a surface of 210.00m2. In 2006 more than 2million visitors partipated at the twenty international and national events programmed . Estimating even more visitors and event for 2007 responding concretely to the needs of the econmic operators of the social and cultural components of the nation. Project worthy of a great European capital.
